The Boys' Rooms at Christmas

Sara Michelle B.1 Comment

This is the first year that Miles (age 2) really "gets" Christmas, and let me tell you, seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child is the most magical thing! He is so excited for Christmas and Evan and I as parents are SUPER excited to help shape some incredible memories for him (and Leo too, of course!) This year we decided to put some decorations in their bedrooms to help  to really get them in the Christmas spirit!

We started with flannel Christmas sheets from Pottery Barn Kids. The Grinch sheets for Miles' big boy beds and Santa sheets for Leo's crib. We also added a small Christmas tree with old school colored lights for Miles' room. It is so much fun to read books in there at bedtime with the glow of the tree! In Leo's nursery, we also added a tiny tree from Land of Nod and some homemade Garland.  As a Christmas tradition, we also gave the boys each a pair of Christmas pajamas to open and wear on Thanksgiving night! This year we got them from Hanna Andersson.. they are so darn cute!

Overall, a few small touches go a really long way in terms of making their rooms merry and bright!
